Introduction
Germany offers an incredible mix of history, culture, and modernity ( Not only generically but also for a car prospective ). This trip took me through three distinct and fascinating cities: Stuttgart ( Porsche + Mercedes ), classic car spotting in Tübingen and Heidelberg.
Stuttgart
Stuttgart…a dream for such a car guy like me. I spent almost the whole day at the Porsche Museum. To be completely honest, I have no words ( still now ) to describe my emotions when I saw for the first time the porsche museum.
Having my dream car before my eyes was a unique emotion and that’s why I sat next to it looking at it for at least an hour.
Athough, the porsche museum was definitely the best I’ve also tried the Mercedes-Benz Museum, which is also very beautiful and interesting, but not as much as the porsche museum.
Tübingen
We stayed at the IBIS HOTEL, in the city center of Tübingen. Is a picturesque university town characterized by its carefully restored medieval center.
Even though the city center was really unique and characteristic, the ease of finding international food really surprised me.
We tried:
- Greek food ( 10/10 definitely )
- German food ( Of Course, but nothing special )
- Vietnamese food ( 8/10 Duck was delicious )
Heidelberg
Heidelberg is famous for its stunning castle ruins and its romantic cityscape.
I enjoyed spending half a day walking around the city center and the castle.
