Use of the app
Local File Diet is a utility for compressing user-selected files on iPhone. You are responsible for choosing files you have the right to process and for reviewing compressed outputs before sharing, uploading, archiving, or deleting originals elsewhere.
Paid access
Local File Diet is intended to be sold as a paid upfront App Store app. After download, app features are available without subscriptions, trials, accounts, or in-app purchases. App Store purchases, refunds, taxes, and regional availability are handled by Apple under Apple media services terms.
No guarantee of compression results
Compression results depend on the file type, original quality, metadata, resolution, codec, and target size. Some files are already optimized or cannot be reduced meaningfully without quality loss. The app may warn when a target is unrealistic.
Privacy
Your use of the app is also covered by the Privacy Policy, which explains the local-first data handling model.
Acceptable use
Do not use Local File Diet to process or distribute content that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or platform rules. Do not attempt to misuse the support channels, website, or public issue tracker.
Limitation of liability
Local File Diet is provided as a utility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect losses, lost files outside the app workflow, rejected uploads on third-party services, or decisions made from compressed outputs without user review.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
